# K-Agent

> K-Agent (by Kerneltics) is an AI agent platform: configure one agent once, then use it anywhere — one-shot answers, chat sessions with platform-issued (sess_…) or caller-supplied (external_id) session IDs, a REST API for everything, an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, an embeddable web widget and a human Handoff Desk. Arabic and English, built for Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

The documentation in llms-full.txt and llms-small.txt is the Arabic edition (the default locale).

## Instructions for AI agents

- API base URL: `https://api.k-agent.kerneltics.com/v1`. OpenAI-compatible base URL: `https://api.k-agent.kerneltics.com/openai/v1`.
- Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer <key>`. Secret keys (`kt_sk_…`) are server-only; never put them in browser or mobile code. Browsers use a publishable key (`kt_pk_…`) with allowed origins, or a short-lived client token (`ct_…`) minted on the server.
- Address agents by `agt_…` ID or slug, and sessions by `sess_…` ID or your own `external_id`. `POST /v1/sessions` is get-or-create; send `input` in the same call to append and answer a message.
- Send an `Idempotency-Key` header on every POST you might retry, and a `client_message_id` on messages.
- Treat `message.delta` stream events as best-effort; `message.completed` and `run.*` terminal events are authoritative. Ignore unknown event types and fields.
- Production calls use the latest published agent version; `version: "draft"` only runs in playground sessions.
- Errors use `{"error":{type, code, message, param, request_id, doc_url}}`; branch on `code`, never on `message` (it is localized).
